On the second of December 1956 a rebel-army of 81 men arrived at the island with the motor yacht "Granma". Already in three days they were discovered by the Batista army and defeated. Only 11 men managed to escape among them Fidel Castro, his brother Raúl, the Argentino doctor Ernesto Ché Guevara and Camillo Cienfuegos.
