Drinking water can be a problem now and then. In the afternoon the pressure on the system usually builds up again, noticeable by the wet streets. If the pressure is only up for a couple of hours daily it hardly is worth the effort to repair the plumbing's; a vicious circle. I once watched a tank-lorry on its way to a nearby town, leaking huge amounts of drinking water on its way.
